Yes ladies and gentlemen, the revolution doesn't mean anything if it only lives in your head. For eight years we have complained about how much our economy and our government has been failing, totally sucking for anyone who isnt a war mongering oil baron. Now is the time that we do something about it.

It's 6:13 am on this lovely US Election Day, November the 4th year of our Lord, 2008. I look out my window from my home here in Harlem at my local polling place across the street and I see that the line is already way way down the block and the sun hasn't even come up yet. Being able to actually see such a beautiful sight stirs up such wonderful feelings inside of me. Can't you just smell revolution in the air?

If you have braved the long lines and stood out in the cold to vote for Barack Obama, the best man for the job, I'm gonna need you to reply and comment to this post as a sign of solidarity. Let's share our experiences.

Tell us about your experience. How did it feel voting and being a part of such an historic day? I'm so glad I'm alive to see this.

And just in case you are thinking of not voting today (perish the thought), get out there and vote, dammit!

Stop complaining about our nation's problems and do something. Revolution in the head don't count for nothing!

Hey My Fellow Americans,

I like, NEVER get political here.

This will probably be the first and the last time for a while so enjoy it.

Just be advised that how I feel is how I feel and I'm not gonna get into any arguments about it.

Anyway...

I hope we're all ready to vote tomorrow?

As we all know tomorrow is US Election Day and you're a US citizen over 18 years of age you should be somewhere voting.

Just in case you need to know:

- Whether you are or are still registered to vote
- Where your polling place is
- About absentee voting
- More about the all of the candidates and where they stand in the presidential and in your local elections

I will most certainly be voting for Barack Obama tomorrow, but not because of any of those cheesy, propaganda filled, corny-ass, YouTube videos with will.i.am and John Legend singing the praises of Obama and not because of all these hypnotized negroes around here only voting for him because he's black, excuse me half African and white. But hey, a vote's a vote and if that's what gets him in I'm down.

I'm voting for him because I'm a registered Democrat and I think he's the right guy for the job. I agree with his policies, any democrat would. And frankly I'd vote for anybody who's not John McCain and Sarah Palin's war mongering asses.

I came into this whole thing being a Hillary supporter. Hillary is still my homegirl. I'd rather haver her for president with Barack as VP and I wish that Barack would have picked Hil to be his VP if only for the pleasure of watching her kick Sarah Palin's moose-shooting ass in a debate, but it's all good. We still got Hillary here in New York and there's always 2016.

Anyway, please get out there and vote tomorrow. I know civic duties such as these can be inconvenient and annoying as hell and Lord knows everybody and they mama's uncle is gonna be voting tomorrow, making those lines stretch from here to Timbuktu, but in spite of all of that please vote for Obama. Now if you were planning on voting for McCain, just stay home, it's okay.

And if you're in California vote no on Prop 8. Just in case you didn't know, Proposition 8 is some bullshit-ass law that's gonna make it hard for gay folks to marry. I don't know why these hateful bastards in our government give a fuck who marries who but unfortunately they do. Californians, please do your part to take out this ridiculous, oppressive proposal. Tonight history will be made. My homegirl, the beautiful Miss Isis (pictured here with me) will be the first transgendered contestant on "America's Next Top Model". This is such a history-making milestone and a magnanimous occasion for the LGBT community. Isis is living proof that dreams can come true. I'm so proud of her.

At this stage of the game as the primary candidates are still being decided across the country, in the black, gay, and especially in the black and gay communities it's basically a toss up between Democratic Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, as all three communities generally vote Democrat. And things are starting to get ugly. Besides the snubbery and bickering between the candidates themselves through the media, their supporters, everyday folks like you and me are even battling it out. I had a bitch go off on me the other day on The Janet Jackson Message Board because he supported one and I supported the other. At the end of the day, let's not forget, oh lovely Democrats that Clinton and Obama are ultimately on the same team and may even end up on the same ticket together before this is all over. And besides all of the Democrat drama, there are even a few black gay republicans out there (to each his own chile, to each his own...) let's not forget them, even though in many ways they've already forgotten themselves, but that's my opinion and today's blog post is supposed to be impartial. Either way, this week's poll should be interesting.

I would tell you who I'm voting for, but then I would have to explain why and on top of that, I mean, I watch the news, I read, but I'm still not the most political guy in the world anyway, I just like who I like. So then some bitch gon' wanna come and start some long, boring-ass political argument with me, then I'd ignore the bitch and then she'd try to post some slick shit and then I'd reply back and then it'd become this reading match and I'd have to shut the bitch down and it'd just be this whole big thing and I'd just rather not, okay? It's not even 10 am yet. Just rest assured that Adam is voting for somebody in the primary in February and in the real deal in November.

As things stand today, who's gonna get your vote in this year's US Presidential Election? Primary results, country of residence, and age notwithstanding, pick one of the nine major Democrat or Republican candidates running.

Heath Ledger, the Australian born actor and star of the 2005, Oscar winning film "Brokeback Mountain" arguably the biggest, most important and critically acclaimed gay themed movie of all time has been found dead in his New York apartment earlier today.

The film is a touching story about a romance between two cowboys over a span of decades set in the Western United States. Ledger played Ennis Del Mar, a ruggedly handsome, yet troubled man who throughout the film had trouble dealing with his feelings for Jack Twist (played by Jake Gyllenhaal), a fellow sheepherder whom he falls in love with after spending a summer together working in the mountains of Wyoming.

In real life Ledger was engaged to actress Michelle Willams who he met wile filming "Brokeback...", she played his wife Alma in the movie. They had a daughter together, Matilda Rose and lived in my hometown of Brooklyn, New York before they split in the summer of 2007.

The news of his death today was very sudden and truly unexpected. The impact of "Brokeback Mountain" on the gay community and society at large will never be forgotten. He will be greatly missed.

Actor Heath Ledger Is Found Dead

The actor Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon in an apartment building at 421 Broome Street in SoHo, according to the New York City police. Mr. Ledger was 28.

At 3:31 p.m., a masseuse arrived at Apartment 5A in the building for an appointment with Mr. Ledger, the police said. The masseuse was let in to the home by a housekeeper, who then knocked on the door of Mr. Ledger’s bedroom. When no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger unconscious. They shook him, but he did not respond. They immediately called the authorities. The police said they did not suspect foul play and said they found pills near body.

Mr. Ledger, a native of Perth, Australia, won acclaim for his role as a co-star in “Brokeback Mountain”, a 2005 film. The film, based on a short story by Annie Proulx about two cowboys who fall in love,  won critical acclaim. Reviewing the film in The New York Times, the critic Stephen Holden wrote, “Mr. Ledger magically and mysteriously disappears beneath the skin of his lean, sinewy character. It is a great screen performance, as good as the best of Marlon Brando and Sean Penn.”

Calls by The New York Times to Mara Buxbaum, a publicist for Mr. Ledger, and Steve Alexander, the actor’s agent, were not immediately returned this afternoon.

I was trying my absolute best not to say anything about this. I was just gonna let it go and leave it alone but it seems like every time I go online, on blogs, on MySpace, on YouTube, on message boards, when I open my email I see it, people I know even ask me about it, it's all over the black gay circuit right now. As much as not saying anything would me more a part of the solution than the problem I just really need this question answered so I'm gonna make this one quick. Could somebody tell me why the fuck do we as gay people care so much about this B2K, Raz B, Chris Stokes bullshit?

Yes why, why should I waste my precious gay time even thinking about this shit? What, because someone allegedly got fucked in the ass it's all of a sudden a gay issue, what manner of bullshit is that? When are we gonna learn that as proud gay people that are lives are defined by more than sex acts and that every time a dude sticks his dick in another dudes ass doesn't mean that we have to come a'runnin'. I've said this before (in this post) and even though people argued me down for saying it I still stand by it. Homosexual acts and being gay are two different things. Period. This whole Raz B mess is not a gay issue, it's a crime issue that should be discussed by a jury in a court of law. And then we wonder why people always associate the gays with child molestation, maybe we should stop associating ourselves with it first. We as black gay people should have given the same cold shoulder to this mess that mainstream media has given it.

Four days ago when I was directed to this video I was disgusted by Raz B's comments that he's not gay, that he's a real man. Whether he's gay or not, who the fuck is he to say that a gay man is any less of a man than a straight man? All of this after he played the role of a gay man on the LOGO series "Noah's Ark". Nobody ever seemed to bring up that point. That should have been the end of him with us right there. I know he totally fucked up with me right there. The fact that after that statement this thing was still all the buzz in the online black gay community astonishes me. We don't have anything else to talk about? He's not gay and he just insulted us to our faces, why are we giving him any coverage?

Instead of getting MySpace bulletins on that shit I wish somebody would have told me that they were airing another piece on Rashawn Brazell's murder America's Most Wanted last Saturday night. I tuned in on pure happenstance and only saw the last minute of it. I wish I could've seen the whole thing. Many of us, like me, especially us here in New York have seen the missing person posters but never knew any of the gruesome details of the crime. Maybe something shown in that piece would have clicked with someone and they could have called in with a clue or something. That broadcast was something I wish I was alerted about rather than having been beat over the head with this other bullshit for the last four days.

Now there's supposed to be some video of Raz B recanting his statement. All of this after the gays have been going off over it for the last four days... figures. One day we'll learn.
